Samyak Jain is a Research Associate at CSEP and specialises in the Economics of Education. He has a PhD in Economics from South Asian University and was awarded with Senior Research Fellowship under UGC. He completed his Masters degree (Economics) from Ambedkar University Delhi. Samyak’s research interests revolve around the domains of Education and economic development, inequality and processes of exclusion, and political economy of development. His research investigating the role of school access and its relation to the prevalent occupational segmentation and social hierarchies in India have been published in reputed international journals.
