Jyoti is a Research Associate at CSEP. She has submitted her PhD in Population Studies at the Centre for the Study of Regional Development, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Her doctoral work focuses on applying advanced statistical methodologies to understand complex health outcomes, particularly in relation to nutritional disparities and gender-based inequalities. She holds a Master’s degree in Population Studies from the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai, and a prior Master’s in Mathematics from V.B.S. Purvanchal University, Jaunpur.

She has  previously worked with the Indian Institute of Dalit Studies, University of Manchester, and the Indian Institute of Public Administration on research and policy-oriented projects. Her research interests are centered around population health, demographic transition and inclusive development.
