The Center for Social and Economic Progress is an India-based public policy think tank that works on growth, finance & development, energy, natural resources and sustainability, and foreign policy and security.
CSEP started as Brookings India, an overseas centre of the Brookings Institution, in 2013. After seven years of a successful fruitful partnership, the two institutions formally separated as of September 10, 2020. CSEP continues to build upon the work that was accomplished in these seven years.
